ABOUT YOUR COACH
As a former Division I thrower at Purdue University, Coach King spent four years competing at the highest collegiate level, finishing 4th All-Time in Purdue throws history and competing on the Big Ten Championship stage. Her time at Purdue was defined by intense training loads, technical precision, academic demands, and the mental weight that comes with high-level sport—experiences that now directly shape how she coaches.
She later competed at the University of Texas at San Antonio, finishing 2nd All-Time in UTSA throws history, further reinforcing her understanding of performance, resilience, and adaptation across different programs and systems.
Through that journey—and especially in the transition after competitive athletics—Coach King developed a deep respect for the physical and mental challenges athletes face, both during their careers and once the structure of sport is gone. Loss of identity, inconsistent training, burnout, injuries, and lack of direction are real—and most programs don’t address them.
That gap is exactly why The King Method was built.
